New Home Gift Ideas: Personalized Ornaments for New Homeowners

A new house is one of life's big milestones, and the first Christmas there is one people remember. A personalized glass ornament is a gift that fits most budgets, arrives in a gift box, and goes on the tree every year after.

Why an ornament makes a good housewarming gift

Most housewarming gifts get used up or tucked away. An ornament gets hung up every December, so each year it brings the memory of the move back. It is also easy to ship and wrap, and it works for friends, family, neighbors and clients.

Ideas to personalize

• First Christmas in the new home: add the family name and the year you moved in.
• The new address: a keepsake of the place where the next chapter began.
• A photo of the house: choose a photo ornament and upload a picture of the front door or yard.
• A realtor or closing gift: a thank-you for clients that they will see every Christmas.

Tips for ordering

• Double-check names, dates and the address before checkout. We produce each ornament exactly as submitted.
• Each ornament is a 3-inch glass ornament that comes with a red ribbon in a gift box.
• Production usually takes 1-2 business days. See our holiday shipping deadlines for Christmas delivery.
• Orders of $75 or more ship free within the U.S., which is handy if you are buying for several clients or friends.
